El barítono Pablo Gálvez nace en Guadix (Granada), comenzó su carrera musical en Juventudes Musicales de Guadix y Granada, en la and Camerata Escolanía Niños Cantores de la Catedral y estudió el Máster en Interpretación Lírica y Escénica por la Universidad de Jaén.
He has been directed by Daniel Oren, Francesco Ivan Ciampa, Daniele Callegari, Miquel Ortega, Corrado Rovaris, Gianluca Capuano, Óliver Díaz, Yi-Chen Lin y Michael Thomas. He also worked with stage directos like Hugo de Ana, Silvia Paoli, Francesco Micheli, Rosetta Cucchi, Curro Carreres y Susana Gómez.
He studied with great masters like María del Coral Morales y Giulio Zappa, y además con Renato Bruson, Teresa Berganza, Carlos Chausson, Alfonso Antoniozzi y Ana Luisa Chova. Ha trabajo también con pianistas como Rubén Fernández Aguirre, Michele D’Elia, Simone Sabina, Julio Alexis Muñoz y Andrés Juncos.
He won the first prize at the Concurso Juventudes Musicales España in 2009, wich allowed him to sing in Baleares, Andalucía and Cataluña. In 2016 is named vincitore earning the role of Guglielmo in the production of Così fan tutte, and the third prize at the Concurso Internacional de Canto “Ciudad de Logoño” in April 2017.
In the operatic repertoire he has interpreted the “Maestro” in Ainadamar (Golijov), Morales in Carmen (Bizet), Masetto in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Belcore inL’elisir d’amore (Donizetti) at Teatro Sociale di Como, Il Conte d’Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), at Opera Studio de Tenerife and, at Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Guglielmo in Così fan tutte(Mozart) at Lombard circuit AsLiCo (Como, Pavia, Brescia and Cremona), Le Comte de Toulouse in Jérusalem being this debut in the “Festival Verdi” of the Teatro Regio di Parma in October 2017 and also in the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in concert version, Valentin inFaust (Gounod), Giorgio Germont in La Traviata (Verdi) at Ópera de Tenerife, Prosdocimo in Il turco in Italia (Rossini) at Ópera de Oviedo and Norton in La cambiale di matrimonio (Rossini) at Rossini Opera Festival.
He has been involved in the Accademia Rossiniana Alberto Zedda 2018 and made his debut in Il viaggio a Reims with the roles of Don Alvaro and Don Prudenzio.
En el repertorio sinfónico he interpretado Fantasía coral de Ludwig van Beethoven y en el repertorio sacro Petite Messe Solennelle (Rossini), Requiem por un vivo (Serrano), La Creación (Haydn), Requiem (Fauré), Requiem y Misa de la Coronación (Mozart), El Mesías (Händel) y Messa di Requiem (Donizetti).
